Prime Minister to Launch Stand Up India Initiative at Noida tomorrow

The Stand Up India Initiative will be launced by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, at Noida tomorrow.

The initiative of the Stand Up India is to promote entrepreneurship among the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Women. This facility will be provided by providing financial assitance in terms of loans that will be in range of Rs. 10 Lakhs to Rs. 100 Lakhs. Every branch of the allocated commercial banks will facilitate at least two such loans. Furthermore to provide tailwinds to the eligible entrepreneurs an online portal will also be launched for the initiative, enable speedy regitry process and provide online support to various eligible candidates of Stand Up India projects

The Prime Minister will flag-off 5100 e-rickshaws on the occasion. He will interact with the beneficiaries, besides inaugurating a Kaushal Vikas Kendra (Skilling Centre)
