Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. (TPEM), a subsidiary of Tata Motors, Indian automobile giants now plans to explore the growing EV (Electric Vehicle) market. Looking into the global growth and demand for EV's it now plans to start production of Electric Vehicles at Sanand Plant, Gujrat (India). This was announced today. This occasion denotes a critical achievement for the organization and was praised with the roll-out of the first Tata branded car of elite facility, within the sight of TPEM M.D , Shailesh Chandra and the initiative group from the Passenger and Electric vehicles businesses. Elaborating the benefits of electric cars and also covering the issue of inverted duty structure in EVs are on the company's Budget wishlist. Tata Motors welcomes competition in the EV market and is all set in this arena of EV.
