Boosting of Solar Power

Norway has underpinned an undertaking to jolt 28 towns with sun oriented Mini-network plants in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand & Jammu and Kashmir. This was expressed by Sh. Piyush Goyal, (Minister of state for Power, Coal & New and Renewable Energy (Independent Charge) in a composed answer to an inquiry in the Rajya Sabha today.
Under Off-matrix and decentralized sun powered applications plan of Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission, the Ministry gives 30% capital subsidy which extends from Rs.27/ -for every Wp to Rs.135/ - for every Wp for establishment of sun oriented PV frameworks and force plants.
The Minister further expressed that In exceptional classification States viz. North Eastern States, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Himanchal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Lakshadweep and A&n Islands, the Ministry gives 90% capital subsidy which goes from Rs.81/ - Wp to Rs.405/ -for every Wp for Government associations (Not for business associations and organizations). Service is supporting state governments in these states to adventure sun oriented potential, the Minister included.
